26, 27, 28: Development

Starter: Development Focus
One at a time say how you are going to develop your work further and what area of focuses you are going to explore...



Lesson Aims: To mount artist research and start developing your existing project further through a range of experimental techniques and media.

Assessment Objectives: AO1/AO2/AO3/AO4

Lesson Objectives (during these lessons you will):
1. Select an area of focus to develop across the week and that enhances your current project
2. Mount your artist research onto an A1 board - include visual imagery and annotations
3. Complete a min of 3 confident developmental studies that show clear reference to your new artists
4. Set your target for the week and complete your to-do list for the week
5. Receive 1-1 feedback and review your anticipated final grade.
Extension: Refine any initial responses you have yet to complete.

Tasks:

Initial Responses:
Working from your chosen subject matter you should create a series of drawing/paintings/prints - which ever is most appropriate for you at this stage. Remember at this stage you should be experimenting with a range of materials and approaches.


Development:


Homework:
1. Complete min of 3 confident developmental studies from the week for boards - min size A4
2. Create contact sheet of primary/secondary images and annotate
3. Complete Personal Study - reflecting on feedback and personal investigation handout. Remember that you must use your current work, ideas and artists within your essay!

Deadline: First lesson w/c 30th November
Deadline for Personal Study: 11th December
